AI is a genuine turning point in human history, and like every tool before it, it is neutral - capable of carrying truth or lies depending entirely on the hands directing it.
Read together: Isaiah 43:19 and James 1:5,17.
Talk about: What's your honest first reaction when you think about AI - hope, fear, or something in between? Why?
Week Two: The Church Cannot Stay Silent
Silence doesn't keep a field neutral - it hands the field to whoever is willing to speak. The church is called to be light exactly when staying quiet would be easiest.
Read together: Matthew 5:13-16.
Talk about: What would it look like for your church or community to speak into a new technology early, rather than only reacting after the fact?
Week Three: A Choice Laid Side by Side
Rather than settling on one fixed meaning, it's honest to lay two paths side by side - deception or illumination, at unprecedented scale. God has always given a genuine choice, never forced.
Read together: Deuteronomy 30:15-20.
Talk about: Why do you think God consistently gives real choices rather than forcing the right one? What does that say about how He views us?
Week Four: Truth and Creativity Versus Control and Lies
Systems built on control treat truth as something to manage. A society built on truth and creativity approaches technology as an instrument of discovery instead.
Read together: Galatians 5:1 and Ephesians 3:20.
Talk about: How does freedom paired with truth change the way a person - or a nation - approaches a powerful new tool, compared to a system built on control?
Week Five: Anxious for Nothing
People are genuinely afraid of AI. Scripture doesn't dismiss that fear, but refuses to let it govern anyone who already knows how the story ends.
Read together: Philippians 4:6-7 and 1 John 4:18.
Talk about: What's one fear about the future you could bring to God this week instead of carrying it alone?
Week Six: For Such a Time as This
Esther didn't choose her placement, but she chose courage over fear when the moment arrived. This generation is placed at exactly the moment a defining new technology is being shaped.
Read together: Esther 4:12-16 and Jeremiah 29:11.
Talk about: Looking back over the six weeks, what's one way you want to engage this moment with courage rather than fear?
